Tara Vineyard & Winery

Tara Vineyard and Winery is located on 33 acres and is the first winery in Henderson County. The vineyard and winery are owned and operated by the Pierce family. Wine production is limited to small lots of premium red and white wines, including wines made from grapes grown in East Texas and other locations. Tara is a relaxing destination where visitors enjoy a "sip of Texas". The winery patio offers panoramic views of East Texas. The old Murchison home, built in the late 1800s and relocated from downtown Athens, is nestled between the vineyards. Tara is available for events, weddings, tastings and tours, and hosts events featuring wine and food pairings. |

The Kiepersol Estates Winery is nestled in a beautiful 51-acre vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah, Tempranillo, Mouvedre, Pinot Gris, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Malbec and Muscat de Alexandria grapevines. Hand planted April 1998 and May 1999, Kiepersol's first vintage was in 2000, and we continue to grow in acclaim and production. We welcome you to engage in wine tastings, tours of the winery and the winemaking process. Kiepersol Estates is located 11 minutes south of Tyler and two hours east of Dallas, in the heart of a private gated community where our five-room bed and breakfast and fine dining steak house are located. |

Sweet Dreams Winery is a place where friends and visitors are gladly welcomed to enjoy fine, sweet, delicious country wines. Enjoy a frozen winearita or a sandwich and a glass of wine on our large covered porch. Sweet Dreams has been open since September 2006. We offer award-winning Blackberry-Grape and Honey-Raspberry, as well as other locally gathered fruits. We grow and make Muscadine wines as well as Wild Mustang grape wine. We ferment, bottle, cap and cellar it all on our premises. Come out and join the relaxing atmosphere. We are 10 miles north of Palestine, off FM 315 on Anderson County Road 441. |
