Do you want to have a special weekend, but you don't have time to make all the arrangements? Let us help you with reservations to local attractions or dinner or perhaps help you set the mood for that special romantic weekend. We're here to make sure that your stay is memorable. Want us to order flowers for you? We can do that! Everything will be done according to your wishes.

Many services are complimentary. However, for special purchases or reservations, we charge a nominal per-transaction fee plus costs for each service provided. At the end of your stay, you'll receive a confidential, itemized statement for your records.

Enjoy wireless Internet access in your cottage or anywhere within the facility. A Wi-fi enabled device, such as a personal computer or smartphone, can connect to the Internet via our wireless network. So, check that important email then relax!

If you don't want hurry romance or just want to linger a bit longer, choose our Lazy Morning Option. Breakfast hours are extended up to 10 a.m and checkout is delayed until 1:00 p.m.

Fishing the Pond

You might think our fish have a death wish, the way they throw themselves on a hook. This is pond fishing the way it's supposed to be.

Many years ago, the pond was created by building an earthen dam across a deep intermittent creek. Runoff from spring rain fills the pond and, depending on the level, the best fishing spots are revealed by ancient stumps poking their head above the water to reveal the fishes' hiding places. Our pond is stocked with largemouth bass and bluegill.

So, bring your fishing gear and expect to land a big one. Leave your fish-cleaning gear at home. This is a catch-and-release pond. If you don't own fishing gear, don't worry. We've got you covered!

Hiking Our Trails

Enjoy over 3 miles of well-marked, well-maintained hiking trails scattered throughout our 72 acres of natural beauty. Our trails are suitable for mountain bikes or jogging.

Sorry, no ATVs allowed.

Because we are a Bed and Breakfast, we only serve one meal a day. But, to really experience the evening hours here. we encourage our guests to cook their dinner over an open fire.

We provide the fire, grill and cooking implements and eating utencils: plates, knives, forks, spoons, glasses, wine glasses, paper towels and aluminum foil. You just have to provide your food. A refrigerator is available for items that might not fit into an ice chest.

After dinner, your appetite satisfied, allow yourself to sit back and become hypnotized by the dancing flames and glowing coals of the fire. As the sun sets, the sky becomes a beautiful gradient of oranges, reds, blues and purples that deepen until one by one all the stars appear. If you're a city dweller, be prepared to see the night sky the way it was meant to be seen.

If you would like to cook out or just have a fire during your visit, please let us know when making your reservation, so that we might have everything ready for you. There will be a $10.00 setup fee added to your balance if advanced notice is not given. There are no microwaves or indoor cooking facilities available to our guests.
