Addresses in Henderson County are based on a localized grid system. Therefore, physical addresses do not coincide with actual GPS coordinates or the U.S. Geodetic Survey. Therefore our location is incorrectly shown on some mapping services such as Mapblast and MSN. However, Google has updated their maps to show the correct location.
One additional note about the name of the road we live on. Officially, it is County Road 2800. However, you will see on various maps that it is called "Ruby Lane", "Pleasant Ridge Road" and even "1407". Disregard these as they will only confuse you. You may use the Google Map below to print out directions from your start point to Oak Creek. Simply click on the blue "push-pin" and follow the online instructions.

From Dallas, Take TX-175 South to Athens.

Turn right onto Loop 7 West.

When you see the sign for HWY. 31 to Corsicana, take the very first right after passing this sign. This is an unmarked road (CR 1409). Follow this a short distance until the road dead-ends into a "T"

Turn right on County Road 1408 (unmarked).

You will pass Kinsey-Holman Road on your left. DO NOT TURN HERE.

Continue on CR 1408 until the road dead-ends into a "T".

Turn left and follow the road for approximatelyone mile.

Look for the Oak Creek sign on the right-hand side of the road.

Driving Directions from Houston:

Take I-45 North to Corsicana.

Exit Hwy.31 East.

Turn right, heading toward Athens. You'll pass through the towns of Powell, Kerens, Trinidad and Malakoff.

Continue on Hwy. 31 through the community of Crescent Heights.

As you approach Athens, turn left onto Loop 7 East. Immediately get into the left-hand turn lane. Turn left onto County Road 1408.

Continue on CR 1408 until the road dead-ends into a "T".
