Saturday Tours

We will be having tours of Tara winery on Saturdays. The tour costs $9 per person and includes 3 wine tastings and a tour of our winery. Reservations are required. To make a reservation, e-mail us at sipoftexas@tarawinery.com

Off Season Jazz - Off Season Jazz provides the perfect mix of sound for a perfect evening at Tara, Offseason Jazz has been a regular at the Winery for two years. Offseason Jazz is one of the areas hottest jazz group playing a unique style of classic jazz tunes from jazz greats such as Miles Davis, Horace Silver, John Coltrane as well as original compositions from band members. Texas Freshwater Fisheries
Annual Fireworks Display

Join us in celebrating our nation's independence with a spectacular fireworks display on the grounds of the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center.

The TFFC will observe regular Sunday operating hours from 1pm until 4pm, with standard admission fees.

The Center will be closed from 4pm until 5pm in preparation for the evening's festivities. Beginning at 5pm, guests are permitted on the grounds FREE of CHARGE. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to relax with your family during the afternoon. Fish in the 3-acre casting pond for FREE until 8:30 p.m. A variety of food vendors will offer an array of picnic foods. Get ready for a BANG! the likes of which you've never heard before as the largest fireworks display in East Texas begins at approximately 9pm.
