It's "Cook's Choice" and something special is featured each morning: Southwestern Breakfast Roundup, Pecan-Blueberry Pancakes with Blueberry Compote, a delicious Quiche or if the mood strikes, a typical Southern breakfast of scrambled eggs, country ham, hash browns with biscuits and gravy.

Starting at 8:00 a.m., guests are welcome to enjoy coffee or tea in our Great Room or, if the weather is nice, sit in a rocker on the back porch, to relax on the patio or stroll around the grounds. We'll call you when breakfast is ready! We serve it hot at 8:30 a.m.

Need an early start? No problem! For early risers we've provided a selection of teas and coffee in your room. Guests who are departing early may request an early Continental Breakfast or get a mini-breakfast to go. Be sure to ask about this when you make your reservation.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS

To help us prepare a breakfast you will enjoy, please tell us when booking of any special medical dietary restrictions you may have. Several of our breakfasts are casserole-style creations that cannot be changed in the morning, but can be adapted if we know before your arrival!

Dietary restrictions include things like no sugar for diabetics, allergies to eggs, milk or gluten, religious restrictions on pork, no meat for vegetarians, etc. We do our best to prepare a delicious breakfast for all our guests. There are times, however, when we cannot meet all dietary restrictions. For those times we have a variety of cereals, yogurt, and breads. However, we must know in advance.

Dinner By The Fire

Because we are a Bed and Breakfast, we only serve one meal a day. But, to really experience the evening hours here. we encourage our guests to cook their dinner over an open fire. Food cooked over an open flame can't be beat. For dessert, it's compulsory that you have S'mores.

Your appetite satisfied, allow yourself to sit back and become hypnotized by the dancing flames and glowing coals of the fire. As the sun sets, the sky becomes a beautiful gradient of oranges, reds, blues and purples that deepen until one by one all the stars appear.

We provide the fire, grill and cooking implements and eating utencils: plates, knives, forks, spoons, glasses, wine glasses, paper towels and aluminum foil. You just have to provide your food. A refrigerator is available for items that might not fit into an ice chest. Just let us know when making your reservation.
